Personally, I didn’t think anti-aging products were a necessity. That part of beauty, I thought I didn’t need to worry about until I actually got older. I grew up being told to remember to moisturise every day, that smoking causes wrinkles and to not stay in the sun for too long (thanks mum). Although I’m of strong oriental descent and are generalised to age well, I’m nearing my mid 20’s and I think my genetic inheritance missed the memo. Those late nights (staring at a laptop/phone) have caught up and are now showing on my skin. Under eye cream I cannot stress enough how different the skin under our eyes are compared to the rest of our face. More attention is needed on this delicate part of our skin.

This has been around for millions of years and is known for its anti-aging properties. The top quality skin care products would have this as their main ingredient. If they don’t, add a drop into your daily moisturiser.


To maintain suppleness and plump skin, drink up. Up to 60% of the adult human body is water. Need I say more?
