The "Working Woman" Makeup Video - Product Breakdown.

I'm a minimalist when it comes to makeup application on myself. You can't get any more natural than fresh, radiant & youthful looking skin. Here's a product breakdown of the products that I used;

Prepping my skin: I used Trilogy's Rose hip Oil & Sukin's Daily moisturiser. I find this combination to be just the right amount of hydration for my skin type without it being too oily.

Foundation: Maybelline Fit Me Matte & Poreless in the number 220. This is probably my foundation colour that I would use throughout winter. At the moment, it is actually a bit light for me as I still have my holiday skin from when I was in Thailand last month. In the video, you will notice I used this product twice. This formula has a build-able coverage, so I didn't bother using another concealer to cover a few blemishes & scars. You would've also noticed that I've taken a step backwards and have applied my foundation with my fingers. Of course, I wouldn't do this on a client, but I found that I was using less product and it gave a natural finish!

Setting Powder: Maybelline Fit Me Matte & Poreless Powder in 230. A tinge darker for extra warmth and to just set the first layer of foundation.

Contour: Maybelline Master Sculpt in Medium. I love this product because it gives me the most subtle definition, appropriate for during the day.

Highlight: Too Faced Candlelight Glow. Not an overly pigmented product, so it gives the perfect natural glow to the skin.

EyeShadow: I actually used Morphe's Eyebrow Palette for the first eye shadow I used. It was the perfect shade of brown for me. I also used the eye shadow Topaz in my Eyes are the Window Shadow Palette by Stila for the centre of my eye lid and the inner corners of my eyes.

Mascara: Maybelline Lash Sensational Fan Effect Mascara. Combs out every individual lash without any clumps. For maximum effect, I recommend applying 2 -3 coats.

Lips: Paw Paw Lip Ointment.

Brows: I personally think that if I had of filled my brows in, they would've over powered this look. So I kept it very natural and just combed them.

I hope you enjoyed my latest video!

Stay creative,

Merry May
