Do I really need to book a makeup trial?

I advise all potential brides to secure a makeup trial, especially if you are undecided on what makeup look you want to go with. Please feel free to look at my previous work on instagram or facebook to see if my makeup style suits you.

Securing a makeup trial is also a great chance for us to get to know each other and to better organise our time for hair & makeup on your special day. Makeup trials take place in my home studio based in Skye.

A makeup trial can take up to 1.5 - 2 hours where you and I can work together to figure out what makeup look you’ll be happy with on your special day.
This extra attention to detail is an initial consultation, which means the trial service is charged at a higher rate than the service on your wedding day - to ensure your special day is stress free and that all the details of the day will be discussed during your trial.

However, if you do not require a makeup trial that is absolutely fine!
You can rest assured that you are in professional hands and you are welcome to send through inspiration pictures instead.

Are there any additional fees?

Early morning Fees: A $50 fee will be charged for appointment times before 7:00am
Public Holiday Fees: A $50 fee will also be charged for bookings requested on a public holiday.

Travel Fees: A travel fee will be charged - calculated from Skye 3977 (South East Melbourne). Additional costs may also include, but not limited to: airfare, hotel, transportation and parking fees.

Will my makeup last all day?
I do my best to make sure your making will last the event but using high quality products & finishing sprays. However, if you have oily skin, I highly recommend touching up with a translucent powder to control any shine.
Lipstick/lipgloss will need to be re-applied - we can discuss prior to your wedding day purchasing the same lip colour for touch ups on the day.

What makeup do you use?
Mac Cosmetics, Napoleon Perdis, Benefit Cosmetics, Laura Mercier, NARS, Lancôme, ModelRock Lashes, Patrick Ta, Giorgio Armani, Estee Lauder, Natasha Denona, Morphe Brushes, Real Techniques, Zoeva Makeup Brushes, Mecca Max, Eco Tools and more.

What suburbs do you travel to?

Melbourne & surrounding suburbs + South Eastern Suburbs.

How long will my appointment take?

For Makeup Only or Hair Only - I like to allow for 45 mins to 1hour per person.

For Makeup & Hair Services - I like to allow for 1.5 hours to 2 hours per per person.

Do I charge less for Mother of the brides?

I charge the same for everyone as I dedicate the same amount of time, care, skill & effort into each client.

Should I get a seperate person for Hair on my wedding day?

For a bridal party of more than 2 people (For both hair & makeup (989- total of 4 x services) I recommend organising a second artist - especially if we don't have a lot of time.

I have a list of artists who I've worked previously with who I can recommend otherwise you are more than welcome to organise another artist of you preference.
